Interests/Contributions:
- A list of keywords outlining the domain of my research interests and activity is: distributed computing, distributed algorithms, collaborative environments, synchronization, interprocess communication/coordination, programming in parallel/multicore systems, networking, mobile communication, peer-to-peer, ad-hoc networks; efficiency, scalability, fault-tolerance, timing-guarantee aspects
- My contributions can be grouped as follows:
  - Methods for fault-tolerance in distributed computing, including combination of orthogonal methods, i.e. wait/lock-freedom (tolerance to crash-failures) and self-stabilization (tolerance to transient failures)
  - Visualization of distributed algorithms for educational and testing purposes; the Lydian environment.
  - Methods of maintenance of scalable overlays based on generalized distance metrics; methods to evaluate properties of unstructured network overlays for peer-to-peer and similar types of networks.
  - Algorithms for scalable group communication and group-consistency, including robust and secure communication methods, resistant to denial-of-service attacks.
  - Methods/algorithms for parallel data-structures and run-time systems support using lock-free synchronization: naming, extended buffers, balancing trees, memory allocation, memory reclamation, multithreading synchronization.
