Bioinformatics I: Introduction to Bioinformatics

2004/2005

This page contains links to materials relating to the lectures and practicals arranged by Graham Kemp.

Pages 39-50 and chapter 5 of the course text (Introduction to Bioinformatics, by Arthur M. Lesk) contain material relevant to the lectures on protein structure.

Students who have discussed their answers to the practical exercises with Graham Kemp during the timetabled practical sessions do not have to hand in written answers.

Further information about the course is given on the main course web page.

Note: The "Bioinformatics III" course builds on the material introduced here, so it is important that students who intend to take Bioinformatics III later on should follow this part of Bioinformatics I.
